They Were and Went

In 2004 a 4 x 5 daguerreotype of a skull and a broken goose egg shell was made. It was scanned and used for this photo-etching. Later the artist cast the eggshell in gold, titling it II Nothing, series. This title comes from Finnegans Wake. Edition Number 4: Collection of the British Museum
